Roger Waters has approved the band Blurred Vision to record of this song – the video is powerful aimed at the heart of the oppressive regime in Iran.
With speculation rising about Roger Waters touring The Wall this year or next, I thought I’d post the film here as a warm up..

Contrary to the majority of UK opinion polls, it would appear that David Cameron’s brand of politics is not palatable with the “Facebook Generation”
A simple search across Facebook for either David Cameron or Gordon Brown reveals quite surprising results – (see image below)
The Facebook Group “I bet I can find a million people who DON’T want David Cameron as our PM” has gained over 30,000 members in the past 3 days

There has been some noise from the Floyd Machine over the past week. In today’s publication of an interview with Roger Waters in MOJO magazine, speculation of him touring The Wall will start/has started to spread like wildfire.
With Roger saying things in the interview like “We are doing the sums for a full scale tour,” I think it is safe to say something is afoot. Your guess is as good as mine as to which musicians crew it this time. I’d be happy with the band he took out to do the Darkside of the moon tour a couple of years ago, but then you never know..
It was 30 years ago that the Wall was released and it is 19 years since he has ever performed it – the last time being when the Berlin Wall came down. Prior to that Pink Floyd last performed the Wall in 1981.
Keep your ear to the ground and your credit card at hand because when these tickets go on sale you’d be lucky if you have a 15 minute window…
He also mentions finding some of the original footage from the 80-81 tour, which is being edited down so we may even have a new DVD to look forward to.

An awesome cartoon comparison of George Orwell and Aldous Huxley’s vision of the future.
So now compulsory ID cards are to be scrapped! No longer will you be required to pay for and carry a biometric ID card, although if you want one you can still apply – I’m sure the Home Office are about to be swamped with citizens desperate to get their hands on an ID card for £30.00.
I’m tempted to apply for one now, might be worth a few quid in years to come
