Robots of Brixton

Posted by Jansen on Aug 8, 2011 in art, event, Film, legominism, News, participation, patterns, politics, Robots

Brixton has degenerated into a disregarded area inhabited by London’s new robot workforce – robots built and designed to carry out all of the tasks which humans are no longer inclined to do. The mechanical population of Brixton has rocketed, resulting in unplanned, cheap and quick additions to the skyline.

The film follows the trials and tribulations of young robots surviving at the sharp end of inner city life, living the predictable existence of a populous hemmed in by poverty, disillusionment and mass unemployment. When the Police invade the one space which the robots can call their own, the fierce and strained relationship between the two sides explodes into an outbreak of violence echoing that of 1981.

Rap News

Posted by Jansen on Mar 31, 2011 in art, blog, Events, media, News, politics, stop internets

It’s 2011 and amid a flurry of political leaks and revelations, revolutions have rolled across North Africa and The Middle East. Join your host Robert Foster for long overdue analysis of these events, asking the question that’s on everyone’s lips — where will revolution spark next? But when a news flash comes in from a special embedded correspondent, the episode takes an unprecedented turn, as that very question is answered in dramatic fashion.

It is with great pleasure that I can confirm Roger Waters is taking The Wall out on tour this year and the dates will be announced on 12th April 2010 2pm EST.

There’s still no word about which venues or countries the tour will take in but if you are serious about acquiring tickets, be sure to have your preferred method of payment handy as I expect this is going to sell out quick.

I bet I can find a million people who DON’T want David Cameron as our PM

Contrary to the majority of UK opinion polls, it would appear that David Cameron’s brand of politics is not palatable with the “Facebook Generation”

A simple search across Facebook for either David Cameron or Gordon Brown reveals quite surprising results – (see image below)

The Facebook Group “I bet I can find a million people who DON’T want David Cameron as our PM” has gained over 30,000 members in the past 3 days

I wonder what it is about Dave Cameron that the British Public so strongly dislike? -

Any ideas?
